Kyrgyzstan to apply experience of China in fight against coronavirus

Bishkek, March 21, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan will apply the experience of China in the fight against coronavirus, Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Tolo Isakov told at a briefing in the Government House.

The official believes that it is necessary to introduce strict restrictions on the movement of people and vehicles. “Chinese experts noted the correctness of actions in Kyrgyzstan, their main rule in the fight against coronavirus was to stop the movement of citizens within the country. Chinese doctors will conduct training for our doctors and exchange experiences,” Isakov said.

Currently, 12 people have been infected with a new type of coronavirus infection COVID-19. Three infected were identified on March 19 in the Nookat region of Osh Oblast, three more - in Suzak region of Jalal-Abad on March 18. An emergency mode has been declared in these regions. All infected citizens came from Saudi Arabia from a Umrah.
