Kyrgyzstan to build rest points for tourists

Bishkek, June 23, 2022. / Kabar /. The Tourism Development Support Fund has begun building rest points on the busiest tourist routes and intercity routes, Elena Kalashnikova, the president of the Tourism Development Support Fund of Kyrgyzstan told at a press conference at Kabar Agency.

She said that by the beginning of the 2023 season there will be 68 rest points, and 21 will be open this year.

“Contractors who will build rest point are already starting to work. The rest point is a stopping place for travelers and tourists, an opportunity to get information, charge gadgets. Here one can drink coffee on the terrace or take a shower. There is a toilet, a small shop and a coffee shop, points for charging a smartphone and an electric car,” she said.
