Kyrgyzstan to build several new hospitals in Bishkek, Osh and Naryn

Bishkek, Aug. 7, 2020 / Kabar /. On behalf of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov, construction of new hospitals, major repairs and reconstruction of old buildings is underway in the republic amid the pandemic, Urmatbek Kokocharov, director of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction and Housing and Communal Services said at a briefing.

He said that in general, health care facilities where major repairs are underway are provided for 1 thousand 105 beds.

“In addition, experimental hospitals from rapidly erected structures in the cities of Bishkek, Osh and Naryn are designed for 270 beds,” he said.

At the same time, Kokocharov noted that construction work from quickly erected material is being carried out in full, it is planned to complete the facilities as soon as possible.
