Bishkek, March 3, 2022. / Kabar /. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov held a meeting of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, at which a decision was made to abolish the mandatory wearing of medical masks in educational institutions of the country from March 4, 2022, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
This decision was made in connection with the stabilization of the epidemiological situation, the press service said.
The new rules apply to both schoolchildren and all employees of educational institutions. Compliance with such sanitary standards as frequent washing and disinfection of hands remains a mandatory requirement.
Also, in connection with the improvement of the sanitary and epidemiological situation, it was instructed to stop the functioning of previously established private laboratories for PCR testing on the territory of border crossing points.
It should be noted that over the past day, 20 cases of coronavirus infection were detected: 2 cases were laboratory confirmed, 18 were confirmed clinically and epidemiologically. No lethal outcomes were registered.
