Kyrgyzstan to chair three important organizations in coming year

Bishkek, Dec.30, 2024. /Kabar/. In 2025, Kyrgyzstan will chair three important organizations, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the republic Jeenbek Kulubaev told a press conference on Monday.

He noted that the year 2025 will be active and full of various important events. The upcoming year will be held under the motto: International Dialogue, Cooperation and Security.

“Kyrgyzstan next year will chair the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). These are three important organizations where we will chair. In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working on promoting Kyrgyzstan's candidacy for non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for 2027-2028,” Kulubaev added.
