Bishkek, Aug.30, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's share in Centerra Gold Inc. is $740 million (26.6%), Almaz Alimbekov, the Chairman of the Board of Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC said during a briefing in the Government House.
He noted the company's shares have doubled in six months.
“At the end of 2018, the amount of our shares made $335 million,” he said.
The chairman added talks with Centerra Gold Inc. on dividend payments are continuing.
“Dividends haven't been received in two years. They stopped coming when the controversial processes started. Negotiations have been resumed for today,” he added.
