Kyrgyzstan to cooperate with Chinese company to install cameras with face recognition

Bishkek, Aug. 29, 2019 / Kabar /. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan and the state company of the People's Republic of China “CEIEC” will cooperate in installing cameras with face recognition.

The press service of the ministry reported that Kyrgyzstan and China cooperate in many areas, including in ensuring public safety.

The Kyrgyz Ministry of Internal Affairs and CEIEC will cooperate in the field of public and road safety. The corresponding order of March 4, 2019 was signed by Prime Minister Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev.

Under this agreement, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and CEIEC will cooperate on the implementation of round-the-clock video surveillance aimed at ensuring public safety through automation of the activities of state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic. These camcorders can be integrated into the face recognition system.

In this agreement, the parties agreed on cooperation in the field of intelligent and technical systems in the field of ensuring public and road safety based on digital technologies.

The Chinese company is responsible for the delivery of equipment, installation and configuration in the command center, and the provision of advisory services for the installation of peripheral equipment.
