Bishkek, Aug. 19, 2021 . / Kabar / . Deputy Chairwoman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Zhyldyz Bakashova held on Thursday a regular meeting of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, the press service of the Cabinet reported.
The meeting considered issues of rehabilitation of COVID-19 patients in medical and other institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the forecasts of the epidemiological situation in the country.
Zhyldyz Bakashova noted the importance of proper recovery after coronavirus and community-acquired pneumonia, and the need to organize post-coronavirus rehabilitation centers.
The Ministry of Health and Social Development of the republic was instructed to ensure the development of appropriate programs and ongoing training courses for health workers on post-COVID rehabilitation, with a focus on primary health care.
The deputy chairwoman of the Cabinet also reminded of the need to accelerate the coverage and vaccination rollout for a safe start of the new school year.
The Ministry of Health together with the Ministry of Education and Science was instructed to work on the issue of opening temporary vaccination points for vaccination against coronavirus on the territory of universities.
In turn, the State Border Service will strengthen control over the admission of foreign students to the territory of Kyrgyzstan in accordance with the Algorithm of crossing the state border by foreign nationals.
In addition, an explanatory work should be carried out on a permanent basis among the population, employees of organizations and enterprises, regardless of ownership, on strict compliance with sanitary and epidemiological norms.
