Kyrgyzstan to deploy COVID-19 vaccination centers in all its regions

Bishkek, April 13, 2021. / Kabar / . As of today, temporary vaccination centers have been deployed in all regions of Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the republic’s Health Ministry reported on Tuesday.

Thus, in Chui Oblast temporary vaccination centers in 8 health-care organizations, in Bishkek - 7 , in Osh city – 2, in Issyk-Kul Oblast – 2, in Jalal-Abad Oblast - 5, in Osh Oblast - 7 area, in Naryn Oblast – 5, in Talas Oblast – 2, in Batken Oblast – 1.

At the moment, the vaccine is given to health workers, where in the sequence employees of general educational organizations, law enforcement and security agencies will be vaccinated against COVID-19 coronavirus infection.

Vaccination is carried out on a voluntarily basis twice at intervals of 25-28 days.

Kyrgyzstan received 150 thousand doses of Chinese Sinopharm vaccine as a humanitarian aid, this amount of vaccine intended for 75 thousand people.

As of today, 2705 Kyrgyzstanis have received the coronavairus vaccine.
