Bishkek, July 14, 2022. /Kabar/. A round table was held in Bishkek on July 13 to discuss the final results of the evaluation of the implementation of the Program to develop the circulation of medicines in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2014-2020.
The main purpose of the round table was to present and discuss the results of work on the development of a new program document on the state drug policy, the press service of the republic’s Health Ministry said.
The round table was attended by representatives of all stakeholders, such as patient communities, government agencies, and the business sector.
As a result of the discussion, it was decided to begin developing a new drug policy, taking into account the recommendations presented at the round table.
An interdepartmental working group will be created, which will include all interested parties: representatives from government agencies, academia, public organizations, and the private sector.
