Bishkek, Sept. 23, 2021. / Kabar /. A Stabilization Fund with a capital of KGS 17-18 billion will be created in Kyrgyzstan, First Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of the country Daniyar Imanaliev told during the discussion of the development program of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2021-2026.
He noted that practice has shown that such a fund is needed in the form of an airbag.
"The decision is taken. A Stabilization Fund with a capital of KGS 17-18 billion will be created. This will amount to 10% of all budget expenditures. The main direction of this Fund will be financing of operational urgent measures to maintain and restore the economy, as well as to stabilize certain processes,” he said.
Imanaliev added that the source of funding will be additional budget income, which will be formed, among other things, through the fiscalization of tax procedures.
