Bishkek, Jan. 17, 2024 /Kabar/. The First Alai Climbers Forum will be held in 2024, the organizer, journalist Erkin Turaliev told.
He said that the forum will be held at the Lukovaya Polyana base camp under Lenin Peak in the Alai district of Osh region and focuses on the problems of melting glaciers and the reasonable use of drinking water in Central Asia.
“The mountaineers’ recommendations through public diplomacy will serve to preserve the sources of life on the planet,” Turaliev said.
