Kyrgyzstan to host international summit "Agribusiness in Central Asia"

Bishkek, Aug. 10, 2023 / Kabar /. From August 27 to 29, Issyk-Kul will host the international summit “Agribusiness in Central Asia: Integration. Modernization. Success", the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The summit will consider effective models of vertical and horizontal integration in the agro-industrial complex of the Central Asian countries.

The plenary session, thematic sections and master classes will cover such topics as financing models, strategies for the development of grain, potato, dairy and meat businesses, as well as technologies for improving agricultural production. As part of the exhibition, agribusiness professionals will be presented with solutions for modernization.

The summit will gather farmers, managers and specialists of agricultural enterprises, suppliers of equipment and means of production for agriculture, representatives of business associations, government agencies, the financial sector, processing enterprises and trade.

The organizers expect about 300 participants from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and other countries.

The summit will be held on the eve of the world's largest exhibition of agricultural machinery AGRTIECHNICA. It is held with the official support of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The organizer is DLG (International Association of Agriculture and Food) together with partner organizations.
