Kyrgyzstan to host performance with participation of world ballet stars

Bishkek, Feb. 24, 2021 / Kabar /. The Kyrgyz Opera and Ballet Theater will host on March 6 a screening of Pyotr Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake ballet with participation of world ballet stars, Elena Myagkova, the head of the literary and dramatic department of the Kyrgyz National Academic Ballet and Opera Theater named after Maldybaev said.

The show will be attended by prima ballerina of the Kremlin Ballet Theater, winner of international contests Ekaterina Pervushina and premier of the Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Theater, honored artist of Russia and winner of international competitions Sergey Manujlov.

"The arrival in our republic of soloists from two of Moscow's most interesting theaters that have earned fame around the world and are represented by a list of star names is always a bright event that is impossible to miss! These theaters never cease to amaze and excite the audience with their world premieres and magnificent performances of the artists," the report says.

Ekaterina Pervushina is a laureate of International and All-Russian contests.

The repertoire of the young dancer includes the following classical parts: Nikiya and Gamzatti in La Bayadère (in the choreography of Marius Petipa, produced by Gabriela Komleva), Medora and Gulnare in Le Corsaire (in the choreography of Marius Petipa, production and new choreography by Vasily Medvedev), Princess Aurora and Princess Florine in The Sleeping Beauty (choreography by Marius Petipa revised by Konstantin Sergeyev, produced by Gabriela Komleva), Marie in The Nutcracker (in the choreography of Igor Chernyshev), Odette - Odile in Swan Lake (choreography by Lev Ivanov, Marius Petipa, Konstantin Sergeyev, Asaf Messerer, Alla Shelest, Igor Chernyshev), Kitri in Don Quixote (choreography by Marius Petipa and Alexander Gorsky revised by Cyril Shmorgoner), Anyuta in Anyuta, choreographed and directed by Vladimir Vasilyev, Lise in La Fille Mal Gardée, in the choreography and production of Kirill Shmorgoner, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, in the choreography and production of Kirill Shmorgoner, Soloist in Serenade, (Part II ˗ Waltz), in the choreography and production of Kirill Shmorgoner, etc.

Sergey Manujlov is a premier of the Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Theater.

In 2003, he graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography.
