Bishkek, May 21, 2021 . / Kabar / . A working meeting was held at the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic between representatives of defense ministries of Kyrgyzstan, Russia and the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on the organization and conduct of a joint exercise with units of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the Central Asian Region "Rubezh-2021".
During the meeting, the basics of the concept of the joint exercise, the composition of the command staff, operational groups and involved contingents of CSTO member states, as well as issues of comprehensive support were considered and discussed, the press service of the Kyrgyz Defense Ministry said.
The exercise is planned to be held in Kyrgyzstan in the third quarter of this year.
