Bishkek, June 27, 2020. /Kabar/. The number of beds for patients with COVID-19 coronavirus infection will be increased in Bishkek and Osh, Mademin Karatayev, the Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan said during a briefing.
Currently, there are 335 beds in Bishkek and Osh, but the ministry intends to increase that figure as the number of patients is growing rapidly.
As for community-acquired pneumonia, the Institute of Balneology and Rehabilitation Treatment in Vorontsovka has started accepting patients since yesterday, and from today, 92 atypical pneumonia beds have been deployed at City Clinical Hospital 1.
With regard to other diseases, citizens are admitted to hospitals.
Kyrgyzstan reported on Saturday 309 new cases of coronavirus, raising the total number to 4,513.
Of these, 2,212 patients have been discharged from hospitals after recovery.
46 people have died.
