Kyrgyzstan to introduce new educational paradigm by 2030

Bishkek, Dec. 30, 2024./Kabar/. Until 2030, the main direction of reforms in education, covering all its levels, including science, will be a new educational paradigm based on 12-year schooling, Minister of Education of Kyrgyzstan Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

She noted that the main directions of changes:

- Coverage of 100% of 6-year-old children with education.

- Profile and vocational education in senior grades.

- Transition to curricula focused on critical thinking, problem solving and adaptation.

- Development of distance learning platforms with access to quality educational materials in Kyrgyz, Russian and other languages.

- Project and team-based learning, where students work on real problems and challenges.

- Use of interactive panels, educational applications and virtual reality technologies.

- Training of teachers in modern technologies for their effective implementation in the learning process.

- Creation of mentoring schemes where experienced teachers support young teachers.

- Introduction of a system of performance evaluation and incentives based on it.
