Bishkek, Dec.12, 2024. /Kabar/. The “Financing of United Commodity Producers” project will be launched from Jan. 1, 2025, the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan said.
The project, whose purpose is to stimulate the process of consolidation of small-scale commodity production and provide state support to integrated commodity producers by providing affordable and favorable credit facilities, will operate for 5 years and is financed from the republican budget.
Thus, for joint commodity producers engaged in livestock breeding and crop production credit funds are provided up to KGS 25 million at 6% for 6 months.
Enterprises of processing industry, which formed cluster associations with associations of commodity producers up to KGS 150 million at 6% for 6 months.
In addition, economic entities engaged in highly efficient and resource-saving technology (drip irrigation, sprinkling); greenhouse farming; leasing of agricultural machinery and animals, creation of machine and tractor stations (MTS), forming united companies up to KGS 50 million on a collateral basis at 6% for 6 months.
