Kyrgyzstan to lift ban on corn export

Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan will lift the ban on corn exports, Minister of Agriculture of the country Askarbek Dzhanybekov said during a briefing on Friday in Bishkek.

He added that a decision was made to export part of the corn grown outside the country.

According to the decision of the Kyrgyz Government “On the introduction of a temporary ban on the export of certain types of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union" of Nov. 19, 2020, a temporary ban on the export of certain types of agricultural products from the republic outside the customs territory of the EAEU was established.
