Bishkek, Sept. 7, 2022 / Kabar /. The first interactive map of the country with providers of digital skills of training courses will be presented in Bishkek, the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The event will take place tomorrow, September 8, within the framework of the European Union project "DigiKonush. Building a transparent future in rural communities of Kyrgyzstan through digitalization".
Today, the interactive map includes 117 IT course institutions throughout the country and can be constantly updated. This list includes both universities and organizations of vocational education, professional lyceums, private, public and other organizations, the report said.
The map was developed in the Kyrgyz language and is focused on representatives of the regions, since it is rural youth and women, compared to their peers living in cities, who, as a rule, are at a disadvantage due to many factors, including poor infrastructure, lack of educational prospects and employment, the ministry said.
“Cooperation between Estonian and Kyrgyz organizations in the IT field will help to adopt the best practices of the European Union here in Kyrgyzstan on digitalization topics,” said Raimonds Vingris, head of the policy department of the EU Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic.
