Bishkek, Aug. 5, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, mass vaccination will start to prevent SARS and flu, Prime Minister of the republic Kubatbek Boronov told during a news briefing.
According to him, the vaccination campaign will be held orderly and strictly.
"Because if there is a second wave of coronavirus infection in the autumn along with a seasonal outbreak of SARS and flu, experts say the harm to public health will be severe. Socially vulnerable groups and poor families and citizens, registered at the Ministry of Social Development, will be vaccinated at the state’s expense.
Vaccines will arrive in the country in September. The campaign will be carried out on a voluntary basis of citizens. All the conditions and opportunities will be created for people who want to be vaccinated on a fee basis,” the prime minister said.
Boronov noted the prices for the paid vaccinations will have to be affordable for the entire population.
