Bishkek, March 25, 2021. / Kabar /. In April 2021, Kyrgyzstan will receive 500 tons of sugar and 3 thousand tons of vegetable oil, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Regional Development of the country reported.
In order to ensure food security and stabilize prices in the domestic food market for basic foodstuffs, by order of Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov, the State Material Reserves Fund under the Ministry of Emergency Situations began purchasing sugar sand and vegetable oil from Russia.
In this regard, contracts for the supply of 506 tons of sunflower oil and 3,046 tons of sugar were concluded. Delivery of these products to Kyrgyzstan is planned for this April.
