Kyrgyzstan to receive 1 thsd tons of new wheat from Kazakhstan

Bishkek, Feb. 24, 2022 . / Kabar /. 1 thousand tons of new wheat will be brought from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan said Thursday.

1 thousand tons of certified spring wheat seeds of elite reproduction of Karabalykskaya-20 variety will arrive from Kazakhstan.

"At the moment bags with 50 kg of wheat seeds are fully loaded into the wagons. The first batch is stored at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan,” the report said.

The new batch is expected to arrive by March 5 of this year to the central base in Bishkek and Balykchy.
