Kyrgyzstan to receive 100 thsd doses of Pfizer

Bishkek, July 25, 2022. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan will receive 100 thousand doses of Pfizer vaccine, Acting Minister of Health Zharkynbek Kasymbekov said at a press conference on the results of the first half of 2022.

He noted that the vaccines will be supplied in the framework of COVAX mechanism.

In total, the republic received and purchased 6 million 168 thousand 200 doses of vaccine, of which 2 million 460 thousand were bought on funds from the national budget, 2 million 280 thousand 200 doses were received as a humanitarian aid, 1 million 428 thousand doses within the mechanism of COVAX.

Thus, as of July 22, 3 million 567 thousand 100 doses were used up, 267 thousand 578 doses were written off and the rest was 2 million 333 thousand 522 doses.
