Kyrgyzstan to receive 115,000 doses of Moderna vaccine

Bishkek, Nov. 24, 2021 . / Kabar / . 115 thousand doses of Moderna vaccine under COVAX mechanism will arrive in Kyrgyzstan on Nov. 25, Director of the Republican Center for Immunoprophylaxis Gulbara Ishenapysova said on the air of Birinchi Radio.

She added the vaccine will be available to residents of Bishkek for two days.

"In turn, Moderna will arrive in regions within a week," the specialist said.

Moderna is a vaccine developed by the American National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

The vaccine is given in two doses. Recommended interval between doses is 28 days. But it can be increased up to 42 days if necessary.
