Kyrgyzstan to receive 70 thsd tons of white sugar under tariff concession

Bishkek, Dec. 20, 2021. / Kabar / . The Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan reports on amendments to some decisions of the Customs Union Commission in respect of white sugar and raw cane sugar.

The press service of the ministry reported that duty-free import of white sugar and raw cane sugar in Kyrgyzstan in the amount of 70 thousand tons is envisaged.

At the moment a draft decree on the rules of distribution of duty-free volume of white sugar and raw sugar imported into the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic has been developed.

Thus, it is assumed to distribute the volume of duty-free imports of white sugar and raw sugar among applicants from the end of January 2022.
