Kyrgyzstan to receive humanitarian aid from Turkey for COVID-19 combating

Bishkek, July 8, 2020. /Kabar/. Turkey will provide assistance to Kyrgyzstan to fight COVID-19 coronavirus infection, the Turkish Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic said.

In this regard, an agreement was reached between the Kyrgyz, Turkish Governments on provision the republic with following materials:

- 20 ventilators;

- 50 thousand respiratory masks (N95);

- 100 thousand medical masks;

- 35 thousand protective medical overalls;

- 2 thousand protective canopies;

- 20 thousand PCR kits (2019-nCov);

- 20 thousand kits for viral nucleic acids extraction;

- 10 thousand boxes of Hydroxychloroquine drugs;

- 50 oxygen concentrators.

"This grant is implemented by Turkey as a gesture of friendship and goodwill to the Kyrgyz side. The donated medical equipment will be owned by Kyrgyzstan upon delivery, and will be used to support medical care.

The people and state of Turkey, as always, are close to the Kyrgyz people during this difficult period," the report says.
