Bishkek, July 22, 2020 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan will receive soon humanitarian aid worth $9 million, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Erkin Asrandiyev said at a briefing.
He added the country has already received humanitarian aid worth almost $8 million from various international organizations and friendly countries.
In general, funds are also allocated from the republican budget to combat COVID-19, including the purchase of medicines.
"But the deficit on them is felt because the demand for medicines has increased. The funds are enough for purchase, but due to the increased consumption of drugs around the world, orders for them may not be taken as quickly and there may be difficulties with logistics. There are different reasons, both subjective and objective," Asrandiyev added.
