Kyrgyzstan to receive USD 160 mln from EFSD to support budget

Bishkek, June 27, 2022. /Kabar/. The Jogorku Kenesh Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security and Migration considered and approved on Monday a draft law on receiving a loan from the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD).

Deputy Minister of Finance of the country Ruslan Tatikov presented the information.

Under this agreement, Kyrgyzstan will be granted a loan of USD 160 million in two tranches (USD 80 million each).

The loan is provided for 20 years, of which 10 years grace period at 1%.

Financial credit from the EFSD funds will be used to support the budget of Kyrgyzstan, including the support of the economic sector of the republic.
