Kyrgyzstan to resume regular flights with Russia

Bishkek, Sept. 20, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan will resume regular air commutation with Russia.

In accordance with the decision of the Headquarters on COVID-19, a regular air traffic between Kyrgyzstan and Russia will be resumed from September 21, 2020.

At the first stage of the resumption of regular flights, a flight on the Bishkek-Moscow-Bishkek route will be operated once a week. From the Kyrgyz side, regular flights will be operated by the Avia Traffic Company every Friday.

Earlier, there were several charter flights to evacuate Kyrgyz citizens from Russia.

Kyrgyzstan canceled all international and domestic flights since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March and resumed domestic flights on June 5.

The country also resumed air services with Turkey and the United Arab Emirates from Aug. 7, and with Kuwait from Sept.10.

Besides, Kyrgyzstan resumed regular flights with Kazakhstan from Sept. 20.
