Kyrgyzstan to send medics recovered from COVID-19 to rehabilitation

Bishkek, July 29, 2020 /Kabar/. Measures will be taken to restore the health of medical workers, Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Aida Ismailova said at a press conference July 29.

The Government has envisaged the organization of rest for medical workers and their rehabilitation.

"These are exactly the measures for rehabilitation of health of medical workers who have fallen ill and have contracted COVID-19 while treating patients. A category for rehabilitation in Issyk-Kul will be defined," she said.

In Kyrgyzstan, 2,711 medical workers have contracted COVID-19 so far, 1,595 of them have already recovered.
