Kyrgyzstan to shoot film about Second World War

The management of the ZAMAN film studio asked the command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and the State Committee for Defense Affairs of Kyrgyzstan to assist in shooting the full-length feature film about the Great Patriotic War, the press service of the State Committee for Defense Affairs reported.

By the decision of the leadership of the Main Directorate of Armaments of the State Committee for Defense Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the military equipment and weapons from the times of the Great Patriotic War were presented for shooting the film.

In one of the episodes of the film under the working title “Muras” T-34 tank, GAZ-AA and GAZ-67 cars, ZIS-3 gun and small arms were involved.

The representatives of the film studio said that the main shooting of the film is completed. Processing and cutting of video materials is underway at a heightened pace and by the spring of this year the film may be released. Filming took place on the territory of one of the capital city's factories.
