Kyrgyzstan to receive large batch of insulin soon

Bishkek, July 25, 2022. /Kabar/. It is planned to supply a large batch of insulin to Kyrgyzstan in the near future through public procurement, Zharkynbek Kasymbekov, the Acting Health Minister of the republic said during a press conference on the results of the first half of 2022.

The acting minister added that this batch will cover the annual need for the drug.

"Earlier, the supply disruption was due to the situation in Western Europe and the extension of the supply terms by the plant," Kasymbekov said.

In addition, he recalled that earlier 5 thousand doses of insulin was receved through the World Health Organization, including 2.5 thousand doses of protophan and 2.5 thousand atrapid.
