Bishkek, Nov.14, 2024. /Kabar/. Maternity capital will be first allocated to high-altitude villages located at an altitude of more than 1,800 meters, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov said during a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh to discuss the national budget.
During the meeting, deputy Nurbek Sydygaliev asked the head of the Cabinet to issue the maternity capital in villages located at an altitude of 1500-1600 meters above sea level.
In turn, Akylbek Zhaparov responded that the law on 1800 meters has already come out and the villages are fixed.
“If we reduce, we will need to adopt a new law, new discussions will be needed, contradictions. For now we will implement the first stage, then we will see,” responded the head of the Cabinet.
