Kyrgyzstan to supply products to Russian markets

Bishkek, Dec. 15, 2017. / Kabar/.Kyrgyzstan will supply food products to Russian supermarkets Pyaterochka, Perekrestok, and Karusel. The Memorandum of Intention was signed today during the sixth Kyrgyz-Russian interregional conference in Bishkek between the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy and the Russian company X5 Retail Group.

Within the framework of the conference, Kyrgyz Minister of Economy Artem Novikov met with Stanislav Naumov, Director for Interaction with the Public Authorities of the Russian Open Joint Stock Company (OJSC) X5 Retail Group.

Both sides will promote the expansion of mutually beneficial trade cooperation between economic entities of Kygyzstan and large trading networks of Russia.

Ural region in Russia is waiting for products from Kyrgyzstan, Naumov said. "We want to sell the best quality products. I managed to evaluate the quality of vegetables, meat and beverages in Bishkek. We expect that a wide range of goods will be supplied to Russia," said Naumov.

"Russia's largest trading network is interested in products from Kyrgyzstan,” the director of X5 Retail Group company said .

X5 Retail Group is one of the leading Russian multi-format food retail companies that manages the stores of several retail chains: Pyaterochka, Perekrestok, Karusel.
