Bishkek, June 20, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan to will suspend transport between the regions, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubatbek Boronov told on Saturday.
He said that since the situation with COVID-19 in Osh, Bishkek and Chui Oblast remains acute, it was decided to suspend interregional transport between the above cities and the region.
Kubatbek Boronov explained that such a decision was made in order not to spread the coronavirus from Bishkek to more “clean” areas.
“Taxis, private cars and heavy vehicles will run,” he said.
The prime minister said that 192 cases were detected over the past day in Kyrgyzstan, of which 39% had no source of infection, which was the reason for the tightening of measures.
