Bishkek, Aug. 2, 2023 /Kabar/. The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic is preparing an exhibition of domestic goods as part of the China-Eurasia Commodity and Trade Expo.
According to the press service of the ministry, the exhibition will be held from August 17 to 21, 2023 in the city of Urumqi as part of the upcoming visit of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov to XUAR, China.
The organization of the national exhibition pavilion is aimed at promoting domestic products of the Kyrgyz Republic in China and it will present more than 140 types of products from 30 Kyrgyz agricultural, food and light industries, as well as manufacturers of building materials. More than 80 business representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic are expected to participate.
Also, the event will present promising investment projects in the field of energy, tourism, as well as the possibilities of national export-oriented companies of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Representatives of Chinese business circles interested in concluding contracts for the import of Kyrgyz products will be provided with full advisory support.
As part of the event, it is also planned to hold a Kyrgyz-Chinese business forum, which will be attended by high-ranking government officials and major representatives of the business community of the People's Republic of China.
The participation of representatives of business and government bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic in the above events provides an opportunity to develop cooperation with the Chinese side and promote the export of Kyrgyz products to the People's Republic of China.
More than 3 thousand enterprises from 32 countries of the Eurasian region are expected to participate in the EXPO.
