Tashkent, Sept.9, 2019. /Kabar/. Representatives of Kyrgyzstan are invited to the International Festival of Applied Arts, which will be held on Sept.11-15 in the city of Kokand, the press service of the organizing committee reported.
The City of Craftsmen is being erected especially for the festival, where masters from all regions of the country will be located.
The Festival also includes an exhibition and sale of handicrafts, and the pilaf contest with the participation of more than hundred masters from Tashkent.
The guests of the Festival will also be presented master classes of woodcarving with the participation of leading craftsmen, demonstration of collections of national costumes, performances of satirists and humorists and theatrical performances.
The festival will feature an exhibition of works by People's Master of Uzbekistan Mukhammadali Yunusov and Kokand Fashion Week with the participation of foreign and Uzbek designers and masters.
The festival becomes a tradition and will be held every two years.
