Kyrgyzstan track and field athletes win gold and silver at Asian World Indoor Championships

Bishkek, Feb. 19, 2024. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz track and field athletes Nursultan Keneshbekov and Ainuska Kalil kyzy won gold and silver at the Asian Indoor Championships, the Athletics Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

At a distance of 1500 m, Nursultan Keneshbekov won a gold medal (3:49.10).

At a distance of 1500 m, Ainuska Kalil kyzy won a silver medal with a result of 4:35.29.

The Asian Championship takes place in the capital of Iran, Tehran. Kyrgyzstan is represented by Ainuska Kalil kyzy (1500 and 3000 m), Maria Korobitskaya (3000 m), Nursultan Keneshbekov (1500 and 3000 m), Maysal Makumbek uulu (800 m) and Samat Kazakbaev (1500 m and 3000). They perform under the guidance of coach Tatyana Borisova.
