Bishkek, Feb.19, 2020. /Kabar/. The act of transferring of humanitarian cargo from Kyrgyzstan to the People's Republic of China took place on Wednesday, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Note that, Kyrgyzstan has sent humanitarian aid to China to support efforts in combating the spread of coronavirus infection.
In total, about 7 tons of humanitarian aid were sent to China. The cargo was formed in accordance with the request of the Chinese side (antiseptic and disinfectants, medical personal protective equipment).
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic ensured delivery of the humanitarian cargo to the Torugart checkpoint, where it was handed over.
