Kyrgyzstan, Turkey debate priority areas of cooperation

Bishkek, Oct. 22, 2021 . / Kabar / . First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Investment of Kyrgyzstan Nuran Niyazaliyev received on Friday Ambassador of Turkey to Kyrgyzstan Ahmet Sadik Dogan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the implementation of agreements reached as a result of the 10th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, which took place in Bishkek on Sept. 10 this year.

Niyazaliyev emphasized the importance of timely implementation of the Action Plan, adopted as a result of the above-mentioned event, for the comprehensive development of strategic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.

The deputy minister and the ambassador also considered issues of the current agenda for Kyrgyz-Turkish cooperation and identified priority areas for bilateral cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to cooperation in the field of migration, ensuring favorable conditions for citizens of the two countries, as well as strengthening of export and investment potential. Agreements were reached to organize bilateral meetings to actively develop cooperation in the political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
