Bishkek, Nov. 11, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ruslan Kazakbayev held meeting with Turkish Internal Affairs Minister Suleyman Soylu.
According to the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry's press service, Minister Kazakbayev expressed gratitude to the Turkish side for the provided simplification of formalities in terms of facilitating the rules of stay of citizens in Turkey, registration procedures and obtaining permits during the pandemic.
The sides discussed the prospects for cooperation of law enforcement agencies, on operational exchange of information, experience and delegations, in the framework of activities to combat international terrorism, extremism, human trafficking, etc., both on a bilateral and multilateral basis and in a regional format.
The Kyrgyz minister asked Suleyman Soylu to solve all problematic issues faced by Kyrgyzstanis in Turkey. These issues were voiced by Kyrgyz citizens during a meeting with Foreign Minister Kazakbayev in Ankara on Nov. 9 this year.
In particular, Kazakbayev stressed the importance of considering the issue of mutual simplification of procedures for obtaining work permits and work visas, up to complete abolition of the requirements for permits for citizens of the states of the parties on a mutual basis.
Internal Minister of Turkey Soylu assured that he would provide all possible assistance in solving the issues raised.
