Kyrgyzstan, Turkey sign memorandum of cooperation in industry and technology spheres

Bishkek, Oct. 7, 2021 / Kabar /. A memorandum was signed between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey aimed at developing and strengthening cooperation in the field of industry and technology, the press service of the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The document was signed by Minister of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Doskul Bekmurzaev and Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkey Mustafa Varank.

The memorandum was adopted following the talks held in the city of Ankara, Turkey.

Doskul Bekmurzaev noted that the document will raise the bar of cooperation to a new level.

“Thank you for the warm welcome of the Kyrgyz delegation. Today we signed a document that will serve as the basis for strengthening trade and economic relations. This, in turn, will not only deepen bilateral relations, but also create conditions for the exchange of experience in the field of industry,” said Doskul Bekmurzaev.

Turkish Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank stressed that an important step has been taken to increase the volume of bilateral trade.

Issues on expanding cooperation in the field of industry and creating an industrial zone in Kyrgyzstan were discussed at the meeting.
