Kyrgyzstan, UAE agreed on cooperation in education and science

Bishkek, March 10, 2021 / Kabar /. Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Beishenaliev and Director General of the Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan Charitable Humanitarian Foundation of the United Arab Emirates Hamad Salem Kardaus Al-Amri signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of education and science. The event took place today, March 10, 2021, in Bishkek, the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

On the same day, a solemn ceremony of laying a capsule for the foundation of the future building of the Islamic Academy took place in Tokmok town of Chui Oblast. It was attended by Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Karmyshakov, Minister of Education and Science Almazbek Beishenaliev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdulatif Zhumabaev and the UAE delegation headed by Hamad Salem Kardaus Al-Amri.

The construction of the academy will begin within the framework of the relevant cooperation agreements between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan Charitable Humanitarian Foundation of the United Arab Emirates on the establishment of the Islamic Academy.

In accordance with the agreements, the founders of the academy are the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan and the Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan Charitable Humanitarian Foundation of the United Arab Emirates.

The documents propose to include four representatives of the UAE and three representatives from the Kyrgyz Republic on the Board of Trustees.

The academy will provide a secular education with the inclusion of advanced studies in religious studies and religious subjects through graduate and doctoral programs.
