Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates Sultan Al Jaber.
The meeting of the two ministers was held on the margins of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the press service of the Kyrgyz foreign Ministry reported Friday.
The sides discussed issues of expansion of bilateral and multilateral economic cooperation.
Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev highly appreciated the visit of Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei and heads of major companies of this country to Kyrgyzstan in early September 2021.
In order to get to practical results, a package of projects in the field of renewable energy sources, agriculture, tourism, development of "green" technologies and logistics was submitted to the Emirati side for consideration.
Ruslan Kazakbaev and Sultan Al Jaber also discussed the possibility of implementing joint investment projects in the field of development of "green" economy in Kyrgyzstan.
Special attention was paid to mutual support within the international organizations. The Emirati side informed about its initiatives and candidates put forward in the framework of multilateral institutions and asked for their support.
The Kyrgyz foreign minister invited Sultan Al Jaber to visit Kyrgyzstan.
