Bishkek, April 26, 2022. / Kabar /. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Artykbaev received on Monday Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Kyrgyzstan Ibrahim bin Radi Al-Radi.
The sides discussed current issues of the Kyrgyz-Saudi relations, agreed to make joint efforts to strengthen the political dialogue through the organization of mutual events at high and the highest levels, to give impetus to the development of trade and economic cooperation and to hold the next meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission in Riyadh this year, the press service of the Kyrgyz MFA said.
The deputy foreign minister of Kyrgyzstan drew attention to the need to expand the legal and contractual framework of mutual cooperation, as well as the adoption of joint measures to increase trade and economic ties and increase investment cooperation between the two countries.
He also introduced to the Saudi side new director of the Fourth Political Department, which supervises the cooperation with the KSA Avazbek Atakhanov.
At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to continue working to strengthen Kyrgyz-Saudi relations and exchanged mutual congratulations on the upcoming Orozo Ait (Eid al-Fitr) holiday.
