Bishkek, March 25, 2022 . / Kabar /. Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the UN in New York Aida Kasymalieva met with UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Liu Zhenmin.
The sides discussed cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the UN in economic, environmental and social areas and exchanged views on the current political situation in the world and its impact on the Central Asian region, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
In addition, Permanent Representative Aida Kasymalieva reported on initiatives within the UN, particularly on climate change and the mountain agenda.
In conclusion, the sides confirmed their mutual interest in continuing further fruitful cooperation.
