Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan confirm the interest in development of cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest

Bishkek, March 14 / Kabar /. The Kyrgyz-Uzbek political consultations between Ministries of Foreign Affairs took place in Tashkent on March 13-14, 2017, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.

The delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was headed by First Deputy Foreign Minister Dinara Kemelova, the delegation of the Uzbek side was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Nasyrov.

The sides exchanged views on topical issues on the bilateral agenda in political, trade-economic, transport-communication, cultural, humanitarian and other fields, as well as international and regional issues.

The sides confirmed their interest in the progressive development of cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest, including further deepening and expanding cooperation between the border regions of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

During the visit of the Kyrgyz delegation, consultations were held between Ministries of Foreign Affairs on consular issues and interaction in the information sphere.

In the consular sphere, the parties signed the Protocol, which reflects the current issues of mutual trips of citizens, interaction of diplomatic missions with the competent authorities of countries.

In the information sphere, an agreement was reached between Kabar News Agency of Kyrgyzstan and Jahon News Agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on information exchange. Within the framework of the visit, Kubanychbek Taabaldiev, Director of Kabar News Agency met with director of UzA News Agency Mamatkul Hazratkulov.
