Bishkek, Jan. 29, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan intend to increase joint production, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Komil Rashidov told at a briefing.

“Recently a delegation from Uzbekugol (Uzbek Coal) has visited Kyrgyzstan. The creation of machine-building stations is also planned. We are exploring other types of cooperatives that will be created in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan,” he said.

The Ambassador also said that information had recently appeared that logistics centers with the participation of three states (Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Russia) would be created at the border of the Kyrgyz Republic and Uzbekistan to export goods to third countries.

“Due to the fact that Kyrgyzstan has GSP + status, the Green Corridor to China and membership in the EAEU is a unique opportunity for cooperation,” he added.
