Bishkek, Feb. 13, 2019. /Kabar/. An agreement was reached between the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Melioration of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan on signing the Cooperation Program for 2019, the press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Tashkent reported, referring to the results of the visit of Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Melioration Nurbek Murashev to Uzbekistan.
The details of the report state that on February 12, 2019 in Tashkent, with the assistance of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan, a meeting was held between Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Melioration of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurbek Murashev with Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khojaev, First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sunatulla Bekenov, Deputy Chairman of Uzkimyosanoat JSC Bakhtier Babakulov.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibrahim Dzhunusov.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the supply of Kyrgyz potatoes to Uzbekistan, mineral fertilizers, cotton and wheat seeds to the Kyrgyz Republic, the elimination of barriers/restrictions to the bilateral trade, as well as current issues of the cooperation.
